Yaware.TimeTracker is a web-based software, which allows to monitor online and offline activities in a real time. It is perfectly suitable for all kinds of computer workers from freelancers up to office and remote employees.

How Does Tick Work?

To use Tick’s timecard you need to follow three steps: (1) select a project (organized by client), (2) select your task, and (3) enter time spent. Once you have entered time, it is possible to enter notes, get budget feedback or work further for the projects.

All resources are divided into three groups with the following productivity status:

  • Productive (e.g. Microsoft Publisher)
  • Neutral (e.g. news and unknown resources)
  • Unproductive (e.g. social networks, online games)

Individual Settings

Yaware.TimeTracker allows to set individual settings for a separate employee or the whole group. It helps to make the monitoring more objective, as various departments need different resources to accomplish their tasks. Tick does not have this option.

Tracking Time Spent Offline

Yaware.TimeTracker records the time, when you are from the computer. After return, you receive a message with a request to describe the activity. So, you can easily find out, how long the meetings, phone calls, etc. take. Tick requires turning on timer, which is not always comfortable.

Reporting to Simplify Management

Tick provides its users with reports built around actionable data. They can be created and then updated. In contrast Yaware.TimeTracker generates reports based on collected data automatically, and employees cannot edit them. So, managers do not need to bother themselves with additional entries. They simply get data on employees’ productivity and can set realistic goals for future.

Is accurate data important for business?

As Yaware.TimeTracker gathers information automatically about online and offline activities, and does not allow editing, the generated data is very accurate. It allows to define the most and least productive employee fairly, run payroll calculations efficiently and save a lot of valuable time.
